In a method of manufacturing shoes, the shoes which are integrated by securing bottoms to ones assembled by joining the edges of uppers and insoles fitted to shoes lasts, are taken in a rapid freezing atmosphere cooled by liquefied gas, in which the surfaces thereof are cooled rapidly. The effect of said rapid cooling make it possible to manufacture the shoes which can maintain the shapes fitted in correspondence to the shoe lasts without causing any disfigurements later as well as in a shorter time.
