PURPOSE:To easily insert an optical fiber having a prescribed outside diameter into a groove by making an adhesive material layer on the optical fiber guide groove thinner than that interposed between a groove substrate and a plate or not providing the adhesive material layer on the optical fiber guide groove. CONSTITUTION:For example, a resist used in the IC lithography process or the like is used as an adhesive material layer 3 which joins a plate 1 and a groove substrate 2, a thickness t2 of the adhesive material layer on an optical fiber groove 4 is made thinner than a thickness t1 on the other area chemically or physically by, for example, by flowing a peeling liquid dissolving the resist into the groove 4 to etch the resist layer on the groove 4. Since the thickness of the adhesive material layer on the optical fiber guide groove is made thinner that of the other area and is adjusted, even an optical fiber having slight variance of outside diameter is inserted and fixed in the groove without increasing the clearance. |
