<p>PURPOSE:To form an input part, where an input position can be detected, and a display part on the same face by irradiating the position, where data should be inputted with light and connecting electrically an input detecting electrode layer corresponding to this position and a photoconductive layer to each other. CONSTITUTION:A current is supplied to an LED 2 of an input pen 1 to allow the LED 2 to emit light. The emitted light is converged to a width of an electrode layer 9 for display by a lens 3. This light is transmitted through an insulating protection member 10, the electrode layer 9 for display, a display layer 8, and an electrode layer 7 and reaches a photoconductive layer 6 in a corresponding position. Meanwhile, the photoconductive layer 6 consists of an a-Si, an a-Se, or the like, and a bias voltage is applied across an input detecting electrode layer 5 and the electrode layer 7. The photoconductive layer 6 absorbs the irradiated light to induce a carrier, and the electrode layer 7 and a specific electrode layer 5A of the input detecting electrode layer 5 are connected electrically, thus detecting the input position.</p> |
