PURPOSE:To reduce the retrieval time by retrieving a mass spectrum data of a known component having a mass spectrum predicted from the mass spectrum of an unknown component from the library file. CONSTITUTION:A raw data file stored in a disk memory 7 is specified by the operation of a keyboard of a CRT5 and the intensity of the total ion chromatogram thereof is displayed on the CRT5 to check the scan number range showing the intensity noticeably and the intensity level. In this manner, components contained in a raw data measured are estimated and library spectrums matching the components are retrieved. The mass spectrums in the raw data are compared in pattern with the library spectrums to retrieve a raw data the closest to the library data thereby identifying an unknown compound. |
