PURPOSE:To furnish a high sensible thermal recording material which has no fading of a recording image and no decoloration due to plasticizer or fats and oils, by using a combination of a specific 4-hydroxyphenyl acetate derivative and 2,4'-bis (hydroxyphenyl) sulfone as developer. CONSTITUTION:Both of 4-hydroxyphenyl acetate derivative represented by the formula 1 and 2,4'-hydroxyphenyl sulfone are made to be contained in a thermal recording layer, or otherwise either compound is made to be contained in an undercoat layer installed between the thermal recording layer and the base material. In the formula, R represents alkyl group of 1-4 in number of carbon, phenyl group, benzyl group. In order to keep leuco dye and developer by bonding on the base material, various binding agents commonly used, for instance, polyvinyl alcohol, starch and its derivative, methoxy cellulose, etc., can be used at convenience. |
