PURPOSE:To prevent a mold from breaking by stopping driving of an induction motor when a timer makes a time-up before a movable platen reaches a position of a set mold locking force or when an output force is put from a distinguishing means. CONSTITUTION:Opening and closing of a mold are carried out with a fast opening and closing speed by means of a serbomotor. The position of a movable platen is detected by means of a position detector being set on the serbomotor B. When reached to a mold touch position, an induction motor C is driven and a mold locking action is carried out with a large force by means of the induction motor. On the other hand, when reached to the mold touch position, a timer means E starts to check time and if the timer means E makes a time-up before reaching the position setting a mold locking force, a controlling circuit D stops the driving of the induction motor. When reached the position setting a mold locking force and although a sign for stopping the driving of the induction motor is output, if the position of the movable platen A continues to move over the allowable position due to a trouble of a brake and so on, an urgent stop sign is output, an electric power switch is turned off and the driving of the induction motor is stopped. The breakage of the mold is thereby prevented. |
