PURPOSE:To prevent a great amount of sheets of paper from entrance and clogging by pressing the sheet of paper drawn out of a depositing bed unrotatably against a rotary member for friction retarding. CONSTITUTION:An arm 7 provided on a shaft of a friction retarding stop roller 5 is provided on the front end with an unrotatable press roller 8 which is adapted to contact a friction roller 4 by its own weight. And a sheet 2 of paper sent out of a depositing bed 1 is blocked by the surface of said press roller 8 so that a great number of sheets of paper do not enter the friction retarding stop roller 5. Also, since the advanced sheet 2 of paper is pressed by the press roller 8 against the friction roller 4, it is given a large transfer force while being separated by the friction retarding stop roller 5 to be sent out one by one. Thus, a great number of sheets of paper can be prevented from entrance and clogging.
