PURPOSE:To accommodate originals in a minor space by installing a pair of retaining pieces on a rotary plate which turns reciprocatively within a certain range of angle, wherein the retaining pieces alternately press exhausted originals to an original receipt surface provided at an original exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:Each original P is pinched by an exhaust roller 1 and an original transport surface 2 and exhausted to an original receipt surface 3. On both sides of this original receipt surface 3, a pair of retaining pieces 5a, 5b are installed, which press the original P to the receipt surface 3 and hold. The retaining pieces 5a, 5b are installed at rotary plates 6a, 6b, which turn reciprocatively within a certain range of angle through the action of a rotary actuator in such a way as complementarily, and the originals P are pressed alternately, and exhausted ones P are stacked one after another on the original receipt surface 3. This provides neat accommodation of originals P in a minor space.
