PURPOSE:To enable repeated curve draft operation, by providing plural sets of vertically arranged pair of unit rollers, arranging each nip point on concentric circles and forming a front delivery and rear delivery in the whole drafting zone including brake zone. CONSTITUTION:The contacting points of each vertically arranged roller pairs of each unit roller 1-4, i.e. the nip points 1c, 2c, 3c and 4c of a silvers S are arranged on concentric circles D1 and D2. The silver S is brought to tangentially contact with front and rear rollers in the drafting zone and the contact of the silver S to either of the upper or lower roller is continued until the silver reaches a position out of the nip point. Curve draft is carried out between the unit rollers. |
