A synthetic resin fastener of the "rib and groove" type comprises a female talon A with opposed hooked projections 6, 7 of different lengths and a peaked ridge 5 inclined towards the longer projection, and a male talon B with corresponding hooked grooves and valley like groove for fitting engagement of said female talon.
