PURPOSE:To reduce transistor loss remarkably, by a method wherein a regenerative diode is connected in parallel from the output of a reactor toward the input of a chopper while a diode is connected in parallel to a switching transistor. CONSTITUTION:When the phase A of a motor coil ML1 is switched from ON to OFF, an electromotive force is generated in the phase A and is clamped by the Zener voltage of a Zener diode ZD1. In this case, a counter electromotive force is generated in the phase A' by the mutual effect of the motor coils ML1, ML2 and the electromotive force, generated in the phase A, is cancelled and eliminated immediately by current, generated by the counter electromotive force. The current, generated from the phase A', is returned from a COM terminal to a DC power source E1 through a diode D5 for the regeneration of the current. The counter electromotive forces are generated in the phases A, B, B' in the same manner and the electromotive forces, generated in opposite phases, are cancelled. |
