METHOD FOR REARRANGING/RECORDING INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To realize the effective reproduction and application of the record information by arranging the recorded data reproduced from a recorded block and the data to be added based on a fixed rule so that the directory information, etc., are recorded more rationally to a medium. CONSTITUTION:When data are recorded and reproduced for each unit of a single block area on a medium, the recorded data reproduced from a recorded block and the data to be added are arranged based on a fixed rule. These arrayed data are recorded to a new block. In such a way, the desired data can be read just by reproducing the new block without reproducing the preceding recorded blocks. Furthermore these read data are not required to be sorted since they are already arranged by a fixed rule.
