PURPOSE:To materialize an electromagnetic actuator light in weight and with high energetic efficiency, by constituting such an actuator with a sheet material of which a conductive part, an insulating part and magnetic part are provided on a base film. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic actuators 1 and 2 are constituted by winding to form them of nearly V-shaped sheet material 3 in fusiform cylinders. Six conductive parts 4 linked from one end to the other of the sheet material 3 are provided on one surface of a base film 5. These conductive parts 4 are covered with coated insulating part 6 composed of insulators such as polyester, etc. With a protective coat 7 made up of nylon, etc., the insulating part 6 is then covered. On the other surface of the base film 5 a magnetic part 8 made up of a permanent magnetic material is provided, which is covered with a protective coat 9. By causing the current to flow through the conductive part 4, a force to produce dislocation between each layer works, by which an actuator is brought into being.
