PURPOSE:To attain the transfer of a call of an opposite party by automatic dial by applying transfer instruction to display a name and a telephone number on a display device and using an input key so as to instruct the opposite part of the transfer destination. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display device (LCD) 27 and an LCD driver 39 are provided to a telephone set and a memory device 41 is provided to an exchange 19. Names and telephone numbers are stored in the memory device 41. The LCD 37 displays the content stored in the memory device 41 and the LCD driver 39 drives the LCD 37. thus, the name and the telephone number of the transfer destination are displayed on the LCD 37 by a prescribed operation and a prescribed opposite party is selected among them, then automatic dialing is attained, the transfer operation is simplified and mis-operation is prevented.
