PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing metallic pigment, giving outstanding coating film appearance and weatherability, comprising a specific vinyl polymer, crosslinking component reactive therewith and specific amphiphatic resin granules. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 94-30pts.wt. of a vinyl copolymer with an acid value 5-100, hydroxyl value 20-100, solubility parameter 9.0-13.0 and number-average molecular weight 3,000-50,000, prepared by copolymerization between (i) an acidic group-carrying ethylenic monomer, (ii) a hydroxyl group-contg. ethylenic monomer and (iii) a copolymerizable ethylenic monomer, (B) 5-40pts.wt. of a crosslinking component reactive with the component A and (C) 1-60pts.wt. of resin granules with a size 0.01-10mu containing amphiphatic group of formula.
