Dithiocarbamate internal mold release agents

A method of making a reaction injection molded polyurethane having enhanced mold release properties is provided. An effective amount at least one dithiocarbamate is injected into a mold cavity with at least one a polyisocyanate component and at least one an active hydrogen component. Polyurethanes having enhanced mold release properties are formed using a composition of matter comprising at least 0.25 parts per hundred parts by weight of active hydrogen components of a dithiocarbamate of the formula: <IMAGE> wherein M and the R groups are described herein.
