PURPOSE:To obtain the titled shaving agent convenient for use and having excellent safety and stability of the product, by combining a hydrophilic nonionic surfactant, a higher alcohol, water and/or a polyhydric alcohol and a propellant at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The objective aerosol-type shaving agent is composed of (A) 0.5-8wt.% hydrophilic nonionic surfactant such as sucrose fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, etc., having an HLB of 9-18, (B) 0.8-5% higher alcohol, preferably a 16-22C alcohol, (C) 0-2% higher fatty acid (preferably 18-22C fatty acid) as a foam-forming assistant, (D 0-3% liquid oil component (e.g. squalane), (E) 62-96.7% water and/or a polyhydric alcohol (preferably glycerol), (F) 2-15% propellant and (G) 0-5% other components (e.g. drug- active component, colorant, etc.).
