NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R is lower alkyl; n is 1 or 2). EXAMPLE:cis-Oxalato[1-(2-aminopropyl)pyrrolidine]platinum(II). USE:An antitumor agent. PREPARATION:For example, a dihalogenoplatinum complex shown by formula II (X is Cl, Br or I) is reacted with silver nitrate to give a compound shown by formula III. Then this compound is reacted with disodium oxalate to give a compound shown by formula I. The compound shown by the formula II as a starting raw material is a novel substance and, for example, is produced by reacting a compound shown by the formula K2[Pt(II)X4] with a compound shown by formula IV in an aqueous solution at room temperature - 100 deg.C for 30min-12hr.
