The unit for filtration of liq. comprises a filter bag of plastic filter material having its open upper end secured to a plastic collar carrying a sealing element. The collar is provided with two diametrically opposed inward flanges at its lower end and each flange has at least one opening (pref. at least two openings) for engagement by one of two portions of a bag lift member. This member has a hand grip portion with a length equal to the distance between two diametrically opposed openings and downward portions at its ends with rectangular U-shaped hooks each insertable via one and engagement in the second opening.
