PURPOSE:To make a lock of driving wheels releasable, by comparing both detected values between a car speed detection device and an engine speed detection device and, when the engine speed is below the specified value, giving an engine a charging, while controlling it so as to secure the specified engine speed. CONSTITUTION:In time of car deceleration or running down a long slope, an engine brake is applied to the car and the revolution of a change gear 24 is decreased but if sudden shift-down takes place, driving wheels are locked, causing the revolution of the change gear 24 to come into an extremely low speed. This revolution is detected by a detector 26 and compared with a signal of a car speed detector 22, and when it is below the specified one, an electromagnet 18 is excited by the output of a controller part 20, shifting a rod 16 of a flow rate control valve 12 against an energizing device 14 and opening the valve 12, whereby the atmosphere is taken in from a suction port 10 and made flow into the inside of a suction passage 4 by way of a breather port 8. Thus, excessive engine braking force can be reduced, while the lock of driving wheels is released or relieved and therefore an engine brake can be efficiently functioned. |
