PURPOSE:To send an arbitrary audible sound signal only by rewriting a data stored in a memory, by emitting continuous sound intermittently by a switching means according to the data stored in a storage means. CONSTITUTION:When timer interruption is applied, a control part 25 judges whether audible sound to be sent to an extension telephone set 14 exists. When the audible sound to be sent exists, the part judges which audible sound is to be sent, and when the audible sound is decided, the control part 25 extracts the data which represents that either switch 27 or 28 should be opened/closed with respect to the classification of the audible sound, and the data with respect to a time to open/close the switches 27 and 28 based on the kind of sound to be sent, from the memory 26. In such a way, the switch 27 or 28 is controlled, and the audible sound of continuous audible sound source 22 or 23 is sent intermittently with a desired cycle.
