PURPOSE:To confirm an incomplete door close condition properly and quickly and avoid battery exhaustion and the like by temporarily turning a room lamp OFF when a door close condition has continued longer than time causing the incomplete door close condition, and then turning the lamp ON for gradual dimming. CONSTITUTION:When a door has been properly closed in stepping out of an automobile, a door switch 6 as a door close condition sensing means detects the closing of the door after the predetermined elapse of time. And a curtain lamp 4 is turned off temporarily for the predetermined time via the operation of an incomplete door close condition confirmation part 15 upon receipt of an output signal from the door switch 6. And the curtain lamp 4 is again turned on and thereafter gradually dimmed via the operation of a room lamp dimmer part 14. On the other hand, when the door is in an incomplete close condition, a closed condition is not continued for the predetermined time and, therefore, the curtain lamp 4 is not turned OFF temporarily, due to the non-operation of the incomplete door close condition confirmation part 15. Consequently, the incomplete door close condition can be confirmed by knowing only the temporary OFF condition of the curtain lamp 4 in stepping out of an automobile and battery exhaustion and the like can be properly eliminated. |
