<p>PURPOSE:To attain quick and accurate automatic dialing by using a pointing device mouse so as to select an outgoing object entry from a telephone directory displayed on a display device. CONSTITUTION:In inputting a telephone directory editing command from a keyboard device, a telephone directory control means reads telephone directory information 4a stored in an external memory device 4 by a telephone directory control means and edited and displayed on the display device 1 as a telephone directory. In using the pointing device mouse 2, a designated point 1b is moved on the screen of the display device 1 and the point is stopped to the outgoing object entry 1a to depress a mouse button 2a. An entry selection control means reads the telephone number 1C of the outgoing object entry 1a instructed by the designated point 1b and the automatic dial means sends the telephone number to the telephone set.</p> |
