Drag=net for fishing vessel - has electric current to disturb fish on sea bottom

The assembly (2) is trailed behind the fishing vessel (1) by a cable. The cable is offset from the ship's side by a boom. The lower front edge of the net (5) is held open by a horizontal beam (3). Each end of the beam (3) is held in a glide-shoe. Strung back through the net at right-angles to the beam are electrodes (6). The electrodes deliver electric pulse currents which disturb bottom-feeding fish causing them to swim upwards where they will be trapped in the net. The pulse current is generated by a circuit housed inside one of the glide-shoes (4). The generator is powered by a rechargeable battery, also housed in the glide-shoe.
