PURPOSE:To take a still photograph without interrupting the photography of a video camera by mounting a still camera part on a video camera part detachably and fixing the focal length by a fixed focus mechanism when the still camera part is demounted from the video camera. CONSTITUTION:The video camera part 3 has a cubic housing 151 and the still camera part 4 is mounted on the front surface 160 of the housing 151 detachably. The video camera part 3 has the optical aperture lens 5 of a photographic optical system opened in the front surface 160 of the housing 151. The housing 151 has a storage part 154, where an eight mm video tape cassette is mounted and unmounted. The still camera part 4 has a nearly cubic housing 171 and is mounted on the front surface 160 of the housing 151 in such a direction that the flat front surface meets the front surface 160 of the housing 151 of the still camera part 3. The lens 5 of the video camera part 3 is exposed to the outside in a usable state to take only a still picture or both a still and a movie picture.
