PURPOSE:To obtain a photographic sensitive material which hardly generates static electricity, is well housed in a photographic printing paper magazine and has improved transferability, by incorporating a betaine type surfactant into the top layer of a photographic sensitive material on the photosensitive layer side and silicon dioxide of a specified particle size and a lubricant into the back coat layer on the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:A betaine type surfactant is incorporated into the top layer of a silver halide photographic sensitive material on the photosensitive layer side and silicon dioxide of <=4mum average particle size and a lubricant are incorporated into the back coat layer on the opposite side. The sensitive material has at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on the supporting body. The betaine type surfactant may be of carboxybetaine, sulfobetaine or imidazolium betaine type. The fine silicon dioxide particles have 0.1-10mum particle size, preferably <=4mum average particle size. Thus, a photographic sensitive material which is not electrostatically fogged, is well housed in a photographic printing paper magazine and has remarkably superior transferability is obtd. |
