PURPOSE:To prevent entry of water or the like on the side of friction plates, by coaxially mounting a plate, a friction plate, a rotary disc, a friction plate, and a fixed disc to a center bracket supported to a drive shaft, and providing seal members at outer periphery of the friction plates or the like. CONSTITUTION:An internal gear 3 is located inside an outer cylindrical portion 1c of a center bracket 1. The center bracket 1 is mounted on an outer periphery of a drive shaft through a bearing 2. A disc portion 16 of the center bracket 1 is formed with an embossed portion 1d for positioning a plate 4 in the center bracket 1. A rotary disc 5 engaged with the internal gear 3 and a fixed disc 6 slidably engaged with an inner cylindrical portion 1a of the center bracket 1 are located coaxially with the plate 4. A friction plate 7 is interposed between the rotary disc 5 and the plate 4, and a friction plate 8 is interposed between the plate 4 and the fixed disc 6. Seal members 11-13 are provided at the outer peripheries of the friction plates 7 and 8 and between the cylindrical portion 1a and the fixed disc 6.
