PURPOSE:To obtain positioning movement in a wide speed control range without expanding the dynamic range of speed servo amplifier, by constituting the speed servo amplifier with plural servo circuits selected corresponding to travel speed shown by a command signal. CONSTITUTION:A selection signal SE is added on the speed servo amplifier 4 from a position control signal output device 6, and a circuit out of the servo circuits 7-9 corresponding to the feed speed of a positioning object 1 is selected. For example, at the time of an operation at low speed, a low speed servo circuit 7 is selected, and a command signal SD which issues a command of the feed speed VO is sent from the device 6. The circuit 7 adds a control signal SV on a servo motor 2, and drives it. A tachometer generator 3 outputs a speed signal SR to the circuit 7, and controls the object 1 so as to be moved at speed VO. A position signal SP is sent from a position detector 5 to the device 6, and it is positioned at a targeted position, and simultaneously, the signal SD which stops the driving of the motor 2 is impressed on the circuit 7.
