PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in the overall dimensions of a cargo handling vehicle and reduce a necessary working area by providing a wide and freely liftable front platform having a container direction change aud turning means in front of a freely liftable rear platform. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a wide and freely liftable front platform 21 equipped with a container direction change and turning means 25, in front of a freely liftable rear platform 22. Lateral direction drive rollers 27, longitudinal direction drive rollers 26 and free rollers 28 are arranged on top of the rear platform 21, and the top of the front platform 21 is fitted with a freely liftable rotary support bed 25, longitudinal direction drive rollers 26 similar to lateral direction drive rollers 23 and 24, and free rollers 28. By restricting an increase in the overall widthwise dimensions of a cargo handling vehicle 10 and enabling a trailer 11 to enter in a longitudinal direction, it becomes possible to reduce an overall necessary working area.
