PURPOSE:To form a distinct image at a high speed by transferring a light- shielding latent image on a latent image carrier onto a photosensitive recording medium and thus forming a latent image for color print. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 35 is arranged above a photosensitive medium 31 coated with microcapsules 34 containing dyeing precursors of cyan, magenta, and yellow and photosensitive resin individually on the reverse surface of a transparent resin base material and a developer, and a latent image 45 formed on the photosensitive drum 35 with prescribed image information is transferred to the photosensitive recording medium 31 by a transfer device 40. Then a latent image is formed on the photosensitive recording medium 31 from the transferred visible image by the exposure lamp 49 and interference filter 51 of an exposing device 46 and the visible image 45 is erased; and microcapsules 34 which do not set with light are collapsed by the pressure roller 55 of a developing device 48 and the latent image is visualized to form an image.
