PURPOSE:To couple a container with a pipe airtightly and to facilitate attaching and detaching operations by providing an O ring mechanism for sealing between a developer supply pipe support member and a cylindrical ferrule. CONSTITUTION:When the cylindrical ferrule 19 is pressed in the small-diameter hole 12b of the pipe support member 12, the insertion end 19b of the cylindrical ferrule 19 is inserted while spreading O rings 16 and 17, and the inner peripheral surfaces of the O rings 16 and 17 and the outer peripheral surface of the insertion end of the cylindrical ferrule 19 and the outer peripheral surfaces of the O rings 16 and 17 and O ring support grooves 14 and 15 are pressed against each other tightly, thereby coupling the cylindrical ferrule 19 and pipe support member 12 airtightly with each other. Consequently, the developer container and a tube are decoupled by a short stroke and a dripping liquid developer never flows out to others. This figure does not show air vent piping which need not be coupled airtightly.
