PURPOSE:To easily obtain an immobilized enzyme membrane for biosensor useful as an enzyme electrode, etc., by forming an O-ring of a photosensitive resin on a specific carrier and immobilizing an enzyme, antibody, etc., to the surface having the O-ring or the reverse surface of the carrier. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive resin 2 is dripped on a carrier (e.g. a dialysis membrane I having a thickness of about 25mum) for the immobilization of a molecule-discriminating substance (e.g. enzyme, antibody, etc.). The amount of the resin is adjusted to give a coating film having a dry thickness of about several mum. A mask 3 having a mask pattern of O-ring is placed on the resin film and the resin is irradiated with ultraviolet radiation 4 and developed to obtain a dialysis membrane 1 having an O-ring resin layer 2' on the membrane 1. The O-rings are separated from each other by cutting the membrane to obtain dialysis membranes each having one O-ring. If necessary, a solution containing an enzyme such as glucose oxidase is dripped on the dialysis membrane and dried to immobilize the enzyme to the dialysis membrane 1. |
