<p>PURPOSE:To make the picture quality of a copy the same as that of a normal copying machine by fixing a liquid crystal array at a position other than the position of original mounted on an original platen, driving the liquid crystal array in response to reception information and forming an electrostatic latent image of the picture displayed on the liquid crystal array onto a photosensitive body by an image forming optical system. CONSTITUTION:A pixel electrode line of the liquid crystal array 11 is placed to a focal point of a condenser lens 14 and a voltage is applied to the pixel electrode according to the sent picture signal. A reflecting film 40 at the end face of a transparentoriginal platen 12 is formed, the light from a light source 13 is reflected in the liquid crystal array 11 to increase the light radiated onto the liquid crystal array 11. The reflected light is formed on the surface of the photosensitive body 15 by the condenser lens 14 to form a latent image. The electrostatic latent image in response to the received picture information is formed onto the photosensitive body 15, then development, transfer, fixing are applied by a conventional electrophotographic recording process and a received picture is formed on the recording paper 23.</p> |
