PURPOSE:To use the titled circuit for an input signal with a large changing width by providing 1st-4th input/output terminals to a ring transmission line at each position of 1/4 wavelength, providing a 5th terminal to a position symmetrical to the 3rd terminal and terminating the 5th terminal by an impedance equal to its characteristic impedance. CONSTITUTION:The terminals 2-5 are provided to a ring strip line 1 whose length is 2/3 wavelength at each position of 1/4 wavelength and a terminal 6 is provided to a position symmetrical to the terminal 4 with respect to the center of ring. The terminal 6 is connected to ground via an impedance 7 equal to its characteristic impedance Z0. In using the terminal 3 as an input terminal, the terminals 2, 4 are placed symmetrically with respect to the terminal 3 and the position of a terminal on the ring path reaching the output terminal 4 and the position of a terminal on the ring path reaching the output terminal 2 are coincident with each other in the ring path reaching the terminals 2, 4 from the terminal 3. As a result, the same transmission characteristic is shown between the terminal 3 and each output terminal over the entire frequency range and the same level of output appears between both output terminals even when the frequency of the input signal varies.
