Cleaning horizontal water supply systems increasing water yield

Process is used for cleaning of horizontal water supply systems esp. of Ranney wells with solid metal filter structure such that a blasting cord is introduced into the horizontal or near horizontal filter pipes and the filter pipe and its surrounding is cleaned by the explosion of the blasting cord placed in axially. - Cleaning with the blasting cord is executed from the inner end of the filter by 10 - 20 metre sections towards the external part. The blasting cord is educted to the section to be cleaned of the filter pipe from the pumped out Ranney well shaft by fixing it to a charging device extendable by a quick connection. The blasting cord is conducted to the section to be cleaned of the filter pipes by fixing it to a flexible leading element through an arched pipe exited above the static water level of the well and attached to the filter pipe. After the explosion of the blasting cord, an already known washing operation is performed.
