PURPOSE:To simplify the listening of a message by operating a listening switch, inputting a communication number and listening to the message. CONSTITUTION:An automatic incoming call section 2 receiving a telephone call from a message sender, a voice recognition section 3 recognizing a communication number from a sent voice signal via a telephone line 1, a communication number registration section 4 registering the communication number recognized by the voice recognition section 3, a voice recording section 5a recording the message corresponding to the communication number, and a voice reproducing section 5b reproducing the message recorded in response to the said communication number when the listening switch 6b is operated and the communication number is inputted from a ten keys 7, are provided. By operating the listening switch to input the communication number, the message is listened to. Thus, the listening operation of the message is simplified.
