PURPOSE:To get an air blowing direction required for improving a comfortable feeling in an indoor environment by a method wherein one of guide walls opposing to each other is arranged in a substantial linear form near a blowoff port of a blowing passage and the other guide wall is made to have taper a in its diameter. CONSTITUTION:A blowing part 13a near a blowoff port 9 of a blowing passage 8 has an arcular section having an equal radius of curvature and a blowing port 13b has a linear section. An axis 14 is positioned at a center part of a curvature radius, a louver 15 is rotatably supported and has a vane-shaped section, its extremity end is rotated and contacted with a linear guide wall 13b. The blowoff passage 8 has a tapered structure with a guide wall 12a. In case of performing a cooling operation, the louver 15 is moved to a broken line position, resulting in that air from the blowoff passage 8 is flowed along the lower surface of the louver 15, its blowoff direction is in a horizontal direction. An occupant does not accept direct cold air and so a universal cooling in a room can be attained. In case of heating operation, if the louver 15 is set at its solid line position, the blowoff direction is 65 deg.-75 deg. downwardly from the horizontal direction and flowed along a floor surface, so that the indoor area can be heated uniformly. |
