PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a scratch on the surface of an optical fiber and the deformation due to a projection of a groove of a grooved spacer, and the damage of the projection, by oscillating a guidance device of the optical fiber in the same direction as a spiral direction of a spiral groove, and also, making its oscillation range smaller than an inversion range of the spiral direction. CONSTITUTION:A strap 6 having in the center a projection 7 engaged to a groove of a grooved spacer 5 is used, the strap 6 is oscillated in the same direction as a spiral direction of a spiral groove as the grooved spacer 5 advances, and also, an oscillation range of the strap 6 is made smaller than an inversion angle in the spiral direction of the spiral groove. In this state, when the strap 6 becomes the boundary line of the oscillatable range, the grooved spacer 5 is twisted to the inversion angle thereafter. Also, optical fibers 3, 4 supplied from fixed supply bobbins, 1, 2 are contained in a groove of the grooved spacer 5 through the strap 6. In such a way, it does not occur that the optical fiber is rubbed against the surface of the grooved spacer, and also, a breakdown of a projection 7, and a deformation of the groove are prevented.
