PURPOSE:To continuously print a plurality of kinds of data on respective business form papers while using a single printer, by sequentially collecting the plural kinds of data to be printed on a continuous form paper obtained by joining a plurality of business form papers, re-editing the data according to each of the business form papers, and printing the re-edited data on the business form papers while feeding the continuous paper by an amount corresponding to each of the business form paper at a time. CONSTITUTION:An endless continuous form paper 21 obtained by joining a plurality of business form papers is fitted to a printing part 20. A CPU 11 performs initialization based on an operation starting command from a keyboard 18 or other means. At the time of printing, data corresponding to a point 1 in a RAM 15 are collected from an I/O port 16, and are stored into a data collecting area in the RAM 15, followed by editing the data and sequentially storing the edited data into an edited data area corresponding to the business form paper 22-1. Thereafter, the i-th printing data is read from the RAM 15, and is printed on the paper 22-1. Then, the paper 21 is fed by an amount corresponding to one business form paper. Subsequently, a similar processing and a printing operation are performed for data corresponding to a point 2 in the RAM 15, whereby the data are printed on the business form paper 22-2. |
