The communication equipment stand (1) has appliance inserts (2) arranged one above the other and a holder (3) with several cable boxes for the accommodation of over lengths of light wave conductors (8), led from cable trays arranged over the stand and going to the insert mountings of the appliance inserts. - The cable boxes (4) are withdrawable from the holder (3), engaging in the inserts, and are arranged respectively with a roller (6) over which the light wave conductors singly or severally severally are guided, and the arriving and leaving conductors are crossed.
