PURPOSE:To improve an installing characteristic of a humidifier to an air conditioner by a method wherein a wide clearance is made between a vane wheel and a case within a water feeding tank, a drain-up pump having a less difference in head is arranged and the drain-up pump is connected to the humidifier from its discharging port through a feeding pipe. CONSTITUTION:A pump 19 is comprised of a motor segment 19a, a vane wheel segment 19b driven by the motor segment 19a and a case segment 19c storing the vane wheel segment 19b and having a suction port 19d and feeds water to a humidifier 7 through a feeding pipe 6 connected to the case segment 19c. A wide clearance is made between the vane wheel segment 19b and the case segment 19c and a drain-up pump having less difference of head is constituted and arranged within the water feeding tank 1. Operation of the drain-up pump 19 is carried out through a humidifying operation switch placed outside the pump. Humidifying water 8 of low water pressure is fed to the humidifier 7 through the feeding pipe 6 under a turned-on condition of the drain-up pump when a humidifying operation is performed, so that the water supplying tank 1 is not required to be arranged over the humidifier 7.
