PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in flame retardancy and peeling strength, by mixing an epoxy resin with a polyamide, a brominated phenoxy resin, a curing agent for epoxy resin and, optionally, a crosslinking agent for polyamide. CONSTITUTION:The title composition of a bromine content >=5wt.% is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. epoxy resin (A) of an epoxy equivalent of 100-2,000 (e.g., brominated epoxy resin) with 100-500pts.wt. preferably alcohol-soluble polyamide (B) [e.g., N-methoxymethylated polyamide substituted with N-methoxymethyl groups (10-40%)], 20-200pts.wt. curing agent (D) for component A (e.g., diaminodiphenylmethane) and, optionally, at most 25pts.wt. crosslinking agent (E) for component B, selected from among 1-30pts.wt. silane coupling agent, 2-20pts.wt. alcohol-modified melamine resin and 2-20pts.wt. tetraalkyl titanate per 100pts.wt. component B.
