PURPOSE:To confirm the position the convergence point of an ultrasonic beam even when no reflected echo is obtained by providing a hollow hole or gap on the line which connects the convergent point or line of the ultrasonic beam and the center axis of an ultrasonic probe. CONSTITUTION:A concave type oscillator 2 is connected to a connector 5 through a lead line 4. There is the hole at the center part of the concave type oscillator 2 and a hollow pipe 6 pierces the hole. A stylus 13 run through the hollow pipe. The convergent point of the ultrasonic beam is indicated with this stylus 13. Consequently, even when no reflected echo is obtained, the convergent point of the ultrasonic beam is indicated. |
