PURPOSE:To properly adjust the supply amount of ink, by driving an ink fountain roller from the main drive system of a rotary press through a crank mechanism and a one-way clutch and adjusting the angle of the one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION:In an ink supply apparatus, one end part of a link arm 14 is pivotally mounted to a part of a rotary body 10 and the other end part thereof is pivotally mounted to the rotary shaft 12 of an ink fountain roller through an one-way clutch 16. In this case, the rotary motion of the rotary body 10 is transmitted to the clutch plate 18 of the one-way clutch 16 through the link arm 14 and the ink fountain roller is rotationally driven by the rotary motion of the clutch plate 18. The driving of the ink fountain roller can be simply realized in synchronous relation to the driving of a rotary press and the ink fountain roller can be arbitrarily set from the lowermost inclined position to the uppermost inclined position by adjusting the angle of the one-way clutch by a drive motor 26 and the setting of the supply amount of ink can be properly performed. |
