PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image having a high image density by including a stage for depositing the polyolefin wax in a monomer compsn. into a titled method. CONSTITUTION:The stage for depositing the polyolefin wax in the monomer compsn. contg. at least a polymerizable monomer, coloring agent and polyolefin wax is included into the process for producing the toner by subjecting said monomer compsn. to suspension polymn. in a water phase. Namely, the polyolefin wax in the state that said wax is dissolved in the polymerizable monomer is deposited on the surface of the coloring agent in the monomer compsn. and, therefore, the polyolefin wax layer having an adequate thickness is formed on the surface of the coloring agent. Since the affinity between the coloring agent particles deposited with the polyolefin wax on the surface and the polymerizable monomer in the state in which the other monomer compsn. compsn., for example, part of the wax, is dissolved is improved, the dispersibility of the coloring agent is greatly improved. |
