<p>PURPOSE:To realize a stable and certain double speed reproduction by providing a pulse generator and a switching circuit, as means for applying a control signal to a motor drive amplifier for driving a stepping motor, and obtaining a switching signal of this switching circuit by a control signal from a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A first pulse generator 27 generates a necessary number of pulses for rotating a stepping motor 29 in order to run a magnetic tape T at the same speed as the time of recording in the course of reproducing a signal, and a second pulse generator 28 generates pulses of the number for rotating the stepping motor 29 at a higher speed than the time of recording. When a rotary head HA or HB exists in a section of a range (1) which comes into contact with the tape T, a witch Sw3 is connected to the pulse generator 27 side, the tape T is moved so that the rotary heads HA, HB trace only one track, and when the rotary heads HA, HB exist in ranges (2), (4) which do not come into contact with the tape T, the switch Sw3 is connected to the pulse generator 28 side, and the tape T is moved by a three-track portion.</p> |
