PURPOSE:To attain a reception up to the limit of the directivity of an infrared photodetector itself by fixing the infrared photodetector which light-receives an infrared signal from a remote controller to the external surface of a shielding case executing the electromagnetic shielding of a reception part, and inserting and connecting the lead line of the infrared photodetector from the opening of the shielding case. CONSTITUTION:The infrared light photodetector 3 is soldered to a print wiring substrate 4 with other electronic parts. The infrared photodetector 3 is fixed to the external surface of the shielding case 5 executing the electromagnetic shielding of the whole reception part, and the lead line is inserted from the small opening provided in the shielding case 5. An infrared transmission filter 1 is disposed in the front surface of the infrared photodetector 3, and it interrupts light beams and transmits only infrared rays. Thus, a reflected light even in an extremely oblique direction from a ceiling surface or a floor surface which cannot be received under normal conditions can be light-received.
