PURPOSE:To provide an amorphous solar cell module with a reverse current preventing function formed inexpensively and compactly in a monolithic type by providing an amorphous solar cell formed on a substrate, and an amorphous film electrically connected in series with the solar cell. CONSTITUTION:A Ti/Al metal 4 is deposited as a lower electrode on a substrate 1. As the metal material Ag, Cr, Mo, SS, Cu, etc. can be used solely or compositely in addition to the Ti/Al. Then, an amorphous silicon film (5-10) is formed. N-type/I-type/P-type (5-7) are formed in a solar cell, and an N-type/I-type/N- type (8-10) are formed for a reverse current prevention. The reason why the reverse current preventing amorphous film is formed here in the N-type/I-type/N- type structure is that an ohmic characteristic with the electrode is obtained to form a structure for obtaining the ohmic characteristic with the electrode. When an electrode material for obtaining preferable ohmic characteristic with the I-type layer 9 (e.g., Mg having small working function in the metal material) is used, only the I-type layer may be sufficient. |
