<p>The performance levels of a conveyor belt cleaning device, whose cutter (1) consists of an elastically deformable principal blade (2), are improved by providing the latter with an auxiliary blade (4) bearing on a lateral face of the principal blade (2). The auxiliary blade (4) makes it possible to take up and distribute the deformations of the scraper cutter (1) and to ensure removal of the materials adhering thereto. This cleaning device may be used alone or in combination with a mechanism intended to apply it against the conveyor belt. Such a mechanism comprises, for example, levers (24) and adjustment means (29, 31). The principal blade (2) itself ensures the elasticity essential for absorbing shocks. The flexibility of the elastic damping blocks (26) and the flexibility of the levers (24) contribute to transmission and uniform distribution of the application pressure over the entire length of the principal blade (2). They also contribute to compensation of vertical deflections of the principal blade (2). <IMAGE></p> |
