<p>THERMISTORS BASED ON V2 O3 MODIFIED WITH OTHER METAL(S) N6A. At least one transition-group metal is present in a V2OO3 matrix intended for thermistors. Preferred compositions are between 55-99.9 wt% of V2 O3 and 45-0.1 wt% of other metal. Particularly Co, Fe, Ni, Cu, Ti, Mo, W. These materials give conductivity changes in the semiconductor/metal (phase-) change temperature range (about-100 degrees C), but are superior to V2 O3 with respect to sintered condition, mechanical strength, low porosity, reproducibility of conductity change.</p> |
